This is what happened this week. We went on exchanges with the Turlock Elders. I was with Elder Andreasen all Tuesday. Elder Nielsen went with Elder Elliot to Turlock. It was kind of nice even though he had a broken foot. We walked around Patterson Monday night. Next day, we walked another 2 hours trying to find people. He can't ride a bike, so I pulled out my card for the first time and I drove the 2013 Corolla. I like new cars. It's been 8 1/2 months since I last drove, so it was nice just driving around small roads. Especially with a rural area where I'm located.
We also got rained on I think last week. It always decides to rain at the worst possible moment, so we ride back to the apartment to get our rain jackets and shortly after, it stops raining. After one hour, the sky's are completely blue again. Weather here around California can be very spontaneous. I just wish I could look at the weather channel and see the forecast. Oh well. It won't rain again for many more weeks. We pray that this winter will be a wet one for sure.
Come to find out this morning that we have our first Zone Conference up in my last stake center. Oh the memories are going to come flooding in again. Also see some of my Modesto missionary friends as well. I can't wait to see what President Palmer has in store for us. I saw a picture that Elder Nielsen sent me about President Monson after his last talk being helped back to his seat by President Uchtdorf and his body guard. My guess is he will choose to sit this next conference while doing his talks. We will see what comes of it. That's that pretty much happened this week. Until then.
