Hey everyone,
It's now been a week since I have entered the MTC. The spirit is so strong here. I have learned so much in such a short time. The food here is everything I have imagined and more. Their strawberry covered and stuffed donuts are to die for. Many lines so you can have a mix of everything everyday. By the way, I accidentally sent in my written letter to home that I was becoming Zone Leader. That was my mistake. I am actually District Leader. I exaggerated my emotions that night of how hard it will be. I came to find out that it is really easy. I talk to my companion, and the other senior companion that we bunk with. As a district, we love and talk to each other. I feel so blessed meeting such wonderful friends and missionaries. I also found out that I will be heading to the airport with the other 2 who are going to Fresno with me ON FEBRUARY 11th. Elder Stanger my companion however, will be going with some of the other sisters who are going to Sacramento. So, our whole district is going to California English speaking. As a District Leader, I get the mail for everyone, and run district meetings on Sunday, and Tuesdays. So yesterday, we had our first devotional here at the MTC. Elder Schweitzer of the 70. His words testified of what I learned from myself. As a district, we went and took these assessments. One of these, was Christlike attributes. I found that I was weak in my faith and Hope. I have learned more on what I need to do to strengthen them. For the lord said, I will make your weak things become strong. On the second day here, it was a stress bomb. So much do to in little time. After each day, it got a little easier each day. I have control of my stress now, and I have come to learn to trust in myself and the Holy Ghost's promptings. I have taught a fake investigator Eddie, who is my evening teacher. We came to learn he lacks in committing himself in something. Also, a real investigator from UVU. We shared James 1:5 and he didn't know he could question his own church. It reminded me of a science movie quote, "Question everything. I also helped teach a member or 2 to help spread the gospel as well. The missionaries really do need members to help bring others unto Christ. Also to fellowship the converts as well. Well, until then, I don't know the next time I will send something. Next Wednesday will be too chaotic. UNTIL THEN, GOD BE WITH YOU ALL TILL WE MEET AGAIN!
