Dear Family and everyone else,
You are all probably wondering where I go to send e-mails. Well, I come to the stake center to the family search room. So grateful for that. Well anyway, it's been raining since last night. I feel so grateful for rain right now. Here in California, we have been having a severe drought. You all probably knew that already. The church is pressing on and I feel that this valley should be blessed for their diligence. Especially when Fresno is the 4th highest baptizing mission in the U.S. Keep California in your prayers these next few weeks. We really need them. Here in the Mountain View ward in Clovis, Brother Ball, who is the ward mission leader, has organized the ward like a miniature mission field. Me and Elder Boyes thought that Brother ball is the mission president, we are his assistants, and the other ward missionaries are the zone leaders. This area is split into zones. As a companionship, we will be working with the zone leaders as we talk about the investigators, and less-actives, in each zone. Oh and the Richie's will be our permanent place. I have finally settled somewhere.
I also learned that Elder Boyes did something to his left knee a couple of years ago. I can't remember what he said but it was exactly like Chaston Hill's story. It's like they are the spitting image of each other. It's crazy. There is so much good about him. It's hard to ever focus on the bad when there is so much good. He has come from a town of 2,000 people and his graduating class had 45 kids. 3 were not active, and 2 were not members. So that in itself is crazy. So many members in one small town.
