Dear family and everyone else,
This week has been very pitiful in the work. Jenny got back from Mexico real quick. She went was because her step-dad asked if she would help bring something down with him. I don't know what though. We continued teaching her and yesterday, she said she was coming to church and nothing. She probably got up late and didn't make it. Sister Kelly waited for her though. That was the last straw for us. Elder Wardle said last night, "You know, I think it's time to drop her." My reply, "I agree." I had great hopes in seeing her baptized this transfer but it never happend. We have two good investigators, Ray, and Leo. Maybe also Vivian if we pick her up when we find her at home. We are starting to 'scrape the bottom of the barrel' in finding. We also witnessed our investigator Shannon go homeless. She was kicked out of her apartment because of how many people lived with her or her kids. It's slightly confusing.
The few plus' in the area, John Piplono's wife has been asking him questions about the church while we're gone. She is showing some interest as we continue teaching him through the book of Mormon. We could possibly baptize her one day. I might have said that already, but I still hope for that day. Brother Mcintyre starting listening to us as well. He says he wants to quit smoking and learn from us. We also had another Thanksgiving like dinner at the Judd's. They had purple potatoes. It tasted the same but different in color. It was an interesting dinner. That's about all that happend this week.
Sincerely,
Elder White
