Dear Family and everyone else,
For this week, I have done a lot of service. I was also able to see the new video the church released. "#BecauseHeLives" Initiative. It is very good. Even if you are not Mormon, it is a video of the Savior of the world. One day, we went up to Madera in the outskirts of town to give some service to the Richie's son who is getting married on April 9th. Oh those rolling hills were beautiful. We were in such a hurry that I forgot my camera. If I ever go north again, I will sure try to remember to take a picture of them. We have been eating a lot of pizza lately from the members. Most are very busy. The other service we did was for the Bundies. They lived in their house for about 6 months and have finally installed their grass. That was what we helped do. I smoothed out the dirt underneath so it looked good.
Tonight, we are going to talk to some less actives again at the Lemon's house. They have some very good questions about our Pre-Earth life. We were glad to answer some of them. We just want to love them the best that we can so they can come back to church. I was able to go with Elder Boyes to a missionary farewell. He knew Elder Wilson who is gone now. They were companions for a week because of some emergency. They have such brotherly love toward another. So now I know what to expect 5 1/2 weeks from now with Elder Boyes leaving back to Canada.
Earlier this week, he got a second flat tire. Thanks to the bishop, he had a spare tube for the back wheel. What happened was, we were biking at night and a nail punctured it. Somehow, the flat end was on the inside. We have no idea how that even happened. Progress was very slow this week. None of our investigators had time for us. We did find out that one -Angie- had a birthday this last weekend. That was exciting. We still would love to talk to them more. Very energetic couple.
Finally, this morning, I had the most powerful feeling from the spirit. We were doing our companionship studies and my companion went into the garage for just a minute. I thought about what to teach for dinner tonight at the Boyer's. Then I knew, "Come Unto Christ" theme song! Their son is musical and plays the violin. Perhaps that has something to do with it. Don't forget to pray for rain in this valley every prayer. I sure have.
Until next week, Love you all.
Elder White.
